Player's Review

"The planet used to be beautiful, with gorgeous cities and gleaming country sides. Until the Aliens attacked! With fire, bombs, and napalm they devasted the world! They made the planet so abominable that it became an outcast in the universe - the Forgotten World. Until you, the Nameless One, appear. You're a Super Warrior of incredible power and energy. You make it your business to reclaim the planet for its rightful owners, the Human Beings. Face the fists of Iron Warlord! Dodge the scorching breath of Dust Dragon! Blast Zipper Worms, Reptilian Thugs, Spydrobots and the acid-belching Paramecium in desperate battles of life and death! Survive the fiends and bizarre creatures of seven different levels to face the King of Aliens the War Tyrant. You must free the planet and reclaim its original name: Earth! Can you do it?"

Good conversion of the arcade game. Instead of just shooting forward you can control your gun to fire in any direction with the help of a handy satellite for extra firepower. Controls can take some getting used to as well as having to watch both sides of the screen for oncoming enemies. Because the screen is scrolling you don't want to kill those from the left side to quickly as you will miss some zenny needed for buying items at the shop. In two player mode you can double the firepower by staying close together and there is a stone for that firepower for use in single player on the final level but its expensive.

On the final level you can also forgo the expensive upgrades and buy a red dress although you time in the level is much more difficult due to lack of firepower. The only result is a huge score boost at the end with no additional ending text. But who cares about score when we dont even get a highscore table at the end.
