Player's Review

"When Seymour went to Hollywood, he took it by storm! Now you can see his first movie epic, SUPER SEYMOUR! Seymour saves the world from the MUTANTS. MUTATO HEADS are born out of the WASTE! So clear it quickly or you will be overrun by the SCUM! Beware of MUTOS like BOING, SWINGA,WHIRLYGIG, RUDI, SNAPPER and GRUMP they can kill instantly with their POISONOUS COMPOSITION!"

Released as a budget game from Codemasters is a conversion from the 8-Bit Seymour series. The game plays like Bomb Jack but a little simpler with it being much easier to collect the 'toxic waste' in the correct order. It also feels a bit easier than the 8-bit versions as the gameplay is faster and the enemies a bit more manageable. It is a short game with only 20 levels before the game loops. The levels didn't seem to change in difficulty int he next loop. Ideally you complete each level quickly for a time bonus at the end and if you collect every 'toxic waste' in order, you will be rewarded with an extra life.

Overall, its a pretty basic conversion of quite a simple game. The only real annoyance is the collision detection as it can be a bit random as to if it will allow you to crush the enemy from above when dropping on them. After completing the 20 levels I spend some time messing about to lose lives which I have trimmed for the video to end on the game over screen.
