"The story so far...
Jobe, a simpleton who spends his hours cutting neighbourhood lawns, is used as a human guinea-pig by Dr Angelo and attains superhuman powers with the help of a unique Virtual Reality system. These powers, initially intended for peaceful purposes, are misused by 'The Shop', a government agency financing Dr Angelo's experiments. Their intervention turns the initially passive Jobe into Cyberjobe, a highly destructive psychopath intent on taking over the world from within it's computer networks.
The game: Cyberjobe has entered Virtual Reality within the world's computer networks and now seeks revenge against Dr Angelo for the injustice carried out against him. Using his new-found powers he manages to pull Dr Angelo, Carla and Peter with him into his V.R. domain. As Dr Angelo, push your gaming skills to the limit as you pit yourself, both mentally and physically against the ultimate in computer incarnations. CYBERJOBE AWAITS YOU!"

The PC dos game was released before the Sega CD game in 1994. Surprisingly the game is mostly the same with the same low colour low res fmv the Sega cd has with the game only requiring a single speed cd rom drive. Another notable difference is that there are no difficulty options in the Dos game so you cant step up the challenge for replay value.

The game is fairly simple being mostly on rails with you only having to press the relevant direction or fire at the appropriate time. It starts of fairly slow and even tells you what to press but soon stops holding your hand and steps up the pace. There are puzzles to solve and few different gameplay types. It is important to collect any of the decryption modules you come across (spiked balls) in order to reach the ending. By the time your get near the end game , the jumping and flying sequences start requiring some very quick button presses, timing is everything.

The video shows a full run of the game with a few death vids at the end.
