Whizz had multiple Amiga releases including the A500 class version, A1200 AGA version and the CD32 release played here. This pretty much the same as the A1200 release but with added CD music.

The game is quite short but feels longer than it actually is as you can spend a while in each level. There are no difficulty options so the game is what it is and although the general gameplay is not that difficult, having to do it in in a ridiculous time limit that's ticking away in double time for some reason makes the game stupidly difficult. Losing a life or running out of time sends you back tot he start. The game has an isometric layout and the biggest challenge is the controls which never seem to match up with where you want to go as well as being very slippy making it to easy to overshoot where you want to land. Gameplay involves going around the level and finding the buttons to launch the rockets before heading to the finish line. There can be multiple routes to reach a particular point and sometimes there are destructible walls in the way and you need to find the box that can help you through that wall. (ice/wood/stone/metal). Some doors or warps require keys or another special item. Whilst there are timers to collect adding to your time, they can be few and far between and for some reason a load of them at the end of a stage and not where you need them. Spinning into bad guys (except the big white ones) will destroy them and they will drop a positive or negative energy drop. Collect the red ones to refill energy and destroy the chequered ones.

Overall this is an average game. The longplay might come across as a bit rushed as I am fighting the clock and have to leave some bonuses behind to make it through. Iget the feeling the developers ran out of time or interest near the end as the levels become quite linier compared to the maze like levels earlier in the game and the game is quite short overall. Still, the art work remains top notch throughout.
