P.S: I'm new in this community since a few weeks ago. I don't know if it's where users report the quality of longplay videos or possibly outdated videos that need to be redone.

Hi guys,

Since day one, several of my longplays have a broken thumbnail on YouTube. Back then, the thumbnail system was very unstable and I was unable to fix them.
Maybe now the YouTube system is fixed?
I have provided replacement thumbnails for said longplays on the ftp in the /JonL folder. Picture files are named like the corresponding longplay video with broken thumbnail.
Could you please try and use the given thumbnails?

For the two PS Vita longplays I did I recorded it off a Playstation TV, made sure that there was black bars around it while recording it in 720p so that i could crop it to being the correct resolution of the actual vita. for PSP currently you can record using an actual PSP and modding it so that you can plug it to your computer through USB and using remotejoylite or something to record it that way, or wait for it to be included in bizhawk emulator, or like I did for my first PSP longplay that I just did and record using component cables and the TV out function on the PSP, just make sure it records it in 480p then crop the black bars around it so that it is the correct resolutions of 480x272 then double the res in encoding to submit the longplay

Yep Brian, Gens is not allowed anymore (is allowed only for 32X) since Bizhawk released with GenesisHawk/Genplus GX

1. You can also use .mp4 in fact, that's recommended better than .mkv video.
2. Gens is not allowed.
3. There are MeGUI profiles set to longplays already.

The video is now on the FTP. It's unfortunate to hear about the random deletions at Archive.org. If this problem persists and more of my videos are deleted, I could for example upload those videos to Google Drive and share the links here. Haven't tried GD with larger files though so I'm not sure how acceptable the download speed is.



You SHOULD report if there are problems with downloads

When videos are listed, those should be available to download. No point in submitting if not.
