For the fast several years I wanted longplays for some of my favorite games. Recently I decided to do them myself. My first longplay is of Distance, a spirit successor of Nitronic Rush. Their are several others I would like to do.

Examples
Myst V: End of Ages
realMyst: Masterpiece Edition
Red Trigger
etc..

There are several others I'm working on right now, but Distance is my first longplay finished.

The Long-play was "Xbox 360 Longplay [122] Banjo Kazooie"; parts 1 - 4 on the official WOL's YouTube channel. I was surprised to find a whole YouTube channel dedicated to various Long-Players, which is what lead me here. Smile

I can't describe the amount of respect I give you for producing & uploading all these Long-plays since 2013, especially with taking care of a growing family & jobs, while actively maintaining the WOL's website as an Admin. In addition, I must admit this is the first time I've seen full Long-plays of old-school RTS games, a genera very close to my heart & soul.

Thank you for all your diligent work, valuable time & lovingly creations of Long-plays that many people will value greatly.

I have been exploring your catalogue of produced Long-plays, many of which I am super interested in watching, I just really wanted to say thank you so much for putting so much time into creating these video-records for others to appreciate, additionally with all the real word stuff added into the mix, I hope you sincerely know that many really appreciate these Long-plays!

Because my Wii can output with the component cable only a 576i50 signal and the pal version of mp8 doesnt support 480p.

In light of the recent removal of my DS2 longplay, I'm reminded of how not-entirely-too-happy I was with certain aspects of it, and I'm almost feeling motivated to to actually go back and redo it.

That being said, I have my immediate plate so full it will last me well into next year, so I'm wondering what happened to Siegried who expressed interest in doing both DS2 and 3, and hasn't logged in since. Frown

Proud to announce after 1/2 year my Age of Empires 2 longplay is finally done! I'm currently in the process of encoding the last videos/uploading them to Archive.

Now to take a break from RTS games for a while. Phew~

Now that i have an component cable for Wii and an Elgato Game Capture HD30 with an component adapter i can longplay Wii games!
For some PAL games, should the game doesn't have progressive scan support i must play the game on Wii U!
I play also much games on USB Loader GX through an external Drive!
Some games they doesn't support progressive scan will be recorded in OBS Studio with Spazbo's tutorial for recording 480/576i or first recorded and then deinterlaced in Handbrake with Yadif x2. We will see!

Update time!

First post in 2019 and will hopefully not be the last either.

In this timespan i managed to finish StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void(which means the series is done YAY!), LOTR: Rise of the Witch-King and Kirby Star Allies with my friend.

Since then i have been recording Age of Empires 2: HD Edition for... 2-3 months or so. I'm halfway through and so far i have more than 25 parts and i've calculated i should have around 35-40 when im done so more than half way there! Smile
