I like Megadrive/Genesis longplays and have some suggestions for games who would make great longplays. Longplays are so much more enjoyable then speedruns, me think.
1.Robocop vs Terminator - Awesome shoot'em up on Megadrive.
2.Dynamite Headdy - Awesome game from Treasure
3.DeCapAttack - It's old, it's from Sega, and it's good.
4.Vectorman - Awesome graphics on Megadrive
5.World of Illusion, Land of illusion, Quakshot - All three awesome
6.Micromachines II - Incredible fun racing game
7.Ristar - Fun platform game from Sega
8.Boogerman - Unusual, and a very funny platform game
9.Beyond Oasis (story of thor) - Great RPG from Sega
Perhaps some of the early PSX games would be great longplays?

Battle Arena Toshinden
Loaded
And off course Jumping Flash!
