Hi all!
I started recording Ultimate Doom (PC) this week-end.
The two first episodes (out of four) are recorded and encoded. :-D

Need a bit of rest now...

I'd like you to add Blake Stone: Alien of Gold and Blake Stone: Planet Strike to your list. These both are Wolfenstien 3D engine games and I want to see you get 100% on everything. They both have maps you can use.

What about Doom 3?

100% secrets expected for both games ;-)

Very nice run on the longplays. The Z-doom emu makes it look more realistic. With all the blood etc. Also great timing of having a small break where the secrets are.

I have seen lotsa new secrets since i played the game back in the days, also the secret levels are nice ones, as i also never have seen them before.

Good job for a first longplay :D Cant wait to see more. For Heretic i also would like to see all secrets or full 100%. But it might also have bugs...

I would not feel comfortable longplaying a game that I'm not familiar with.
I'm afraid RecordedAmigaGames.org already features all Amiga games that I've ever played... :-/

I was thinking about games like Quake, Half-Life, Doom 2, Hexen, Heretic 2, Half-Life 2.
But Final Doom? Not a chance, sorry. ;-p

Almost done! All 4 episodes are in.

Re-recorded episode 1 to get 100% secrets.
Episodes 2 and 3 with 100% secrets too.
Episode 4 contains two bugs that forbids the player from reaching 100%, in level 3 and 7 unless using no clipping cheat code. In stage 1, I simply didn't have enough ammunition to kill the 4 barons of hell (that's right, 4) hiding in the second secret zone. What were they thinking, dammit!

Encoding episode 4 right now.

Confirmed. I missed a secret in E1M7 and one secret did not get registered by the game in E1M5 because I opened the secret door, but didn't actually walk through it. Meh! :o/

All secrets accounted for in episode 2 though.

Think I'm going to record the remaining episodes in smaller sessions to get cleaner results.

Actually I've been playing each episode in one go, so that can't be perfect. It doesn't have to be either, does it? :-)

I intended to visit all secret areas. I think I missed one in episode 1 because I did it all from memory, but then I did some research and planning for episode 2 and I think I got them all. I'll have to recheck, though.
I killed most monsters, but sometimes I skipped some to keep up the pace (shooting repeatedly at 3 cacodemons trapped in a room through a window is not what I call entertaining).
And don't count on me to collect every single health vial and armor piece. Too much work, not fun enough.

Don't know if I'll be going for 100% secrets in the fourth episode, because I'm not familiar enough with it. We'll see.

All in all, I try to be thorough without becoming tedious ;-)

On the other hand, you'll find a 100% speedrun on Speed Demo Archive but that one was so blinding fast that it made my head hurt and almost made me throw up! :-D
