There are two releases of this game. The initial release which sold for £9.99 and a later budget release played here for £3.99. The presentation/Game menus are notably different between the two releases. This might be the last game with Gaxx (Gavin Raeburn) involved in a C64 Codemasters game conversion.
The game is made up of 4 separately loadable games. All of budget quality but packaged together as a full priced game. 11-A-Side, Indoor soccer and Street soccer are pretty much the same game with a different backdrop with 11-a-side having more rules to follow like offside and player fouls and Street soccer (probably the best of the three) with no rules at all. Soccer skills is a totally separate game that plays like those old joystick wiggling sports games.
Overall, the gameplay is rubbish. Player control is massively over sensitive and you just end up running around like a loony as you fight the ai player for the ball. The Ai players move notably faster making the game overly difficult. It would definitely be best played in 2 player mode. The game is as minimal as a football game can be. No championship, just a single round to decide the winner between two opponents.
I played through all four games and jammed them together into one video. The only good thing about the game is the title music which is really too short.
