"Just Who Are These Guys?
Mobo and Robo are the coolest villains you'll ever meet-they rob banks, museums (and innocent computer gamers of their sanity). One evening Whilst watching TV a mysterious stranger appeared on screen... Good Evening Boys I've got a job for you... My businesses are being robbed and I need you to test my security systems. Deliver the goods and Ill reward you Take control of Mobo and Robo and guide them around the various establishments, collecting evidence on the way."
Not much to say about this one. It's a C64 conversion of the arcade original with most of the game mechanics intact but not all. Like you you cant knock out a nearby guard with the door. The levels are all recognisable and the game plays as you would expect. Collect all the evidence in a level and head to the exit. Complete ten levels to win! There are also two bonus levels where an extra life can be earned by collecting all the money before the timer runs out.
The game is displayed in two player split screen even if only one player is playing which doesnt help given the C64s low resolution and small player and enemies. You can play as either character depending on which joystick port you are using. Lives are more like hit points. each time you hot you lose a life and when all are gone you lose. You do however get a few continues.
In the longplay I go through all levels with music. After completing the game I briefly show the alternate character with sfx. Overall, it's an alright conversion and plays fine and is made easier with the limited enemies. As soon as you move back out of the enemies sight they lose interest but even when everything is going right in a level, that timer seems to count down quite quick.
