Player's Review

"The mischievous Baby Mice have stolen your all important ingredients, and made a general mess of your kitchen with food flying everywhere.
Knock the ingredients into your basket and keep an eye out for the Baby Mice who will not hesitate to empty your basket."

A "modern" BurgerTime clone for the PS2, with 32 levels in 4 different worlds.
There are also two minigames you can play if you finish a level in a very short time to get a starting item in the following level. The slicing minigame plays after odd-numbered levels, the catching minigame after even-numbered levels. They get increasingly harder based on how many times you play them during your playthrough, and will be gnarly towards the end.
The game supports analog controls, but only for moving the cursor. The actual levels are played with the D-Pad.

The game doesn't last very long, but it provides some challenge, especially in the last levels where you need to strategize to collect all the ingredients without dying. The powerups are cool and kinda useful, but the two usable objects leave a lot to be desired: the bomb is only slightly more useful than a pan hit (it has a small range) and the bread slice does nothing to save you from the inevitable fact that its protective effect will wear out exactly when a mouse is over you so you will still die.
One of the mice types in patricular can climb stairs and ropes, is always in the way, and is the main reason why this longplay took quite a long time to make (every weird routing strategy is because of him).
The game suffers from interlacing problems that sometimes make it difficult to look at, but oh well... it's for sure not the biggest problem this game has so we'll deal with it.

In the playthrough I only die twice (one of which to the aforementioned mice) to make the gameplay look clean, so in the end I include all the other failure states. The game only records High Scores when you die, so finishing it doesn't actually award a High Score (I also show what that looks like in the end). I never use the Bread item because doing it is very dangerous so I show it in the end too.
