Player's Review
Othello is a 1986 video game developed by HAL Laboratory for the Famicom Disk System and published by a toy company Kawada in Japan. It is based on the board game Othello, a version of Reversi sold by Tsukuda Original. A port for the NES was published in 1988 in North America by Acclaim Entertainment. A port for the Game Boy was developed by Tsukuda Original and published in Europe by Nintendo.
In this longplay, I beat all difficulty levels in order, after which the game offers me to play on the secret 5th difficulty, which I do. After beating the secret difficulty, I get to see the credits. Extra scenes were edited in at the end. This game has a replay feature where you can watch a replay of the last match you played if you wait at the title screen and watch the demo – this feature was not shown in the longplay, but I did show the demo that plays when you start from a clean save.
