Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind

This is the longplay of the game Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind, a 2D platform game released by Accolade in the 1990s for SNES and Mega Drive, in a time when anthropomorphic animals as game mascots made gigantic success, and games were competing to create the perfect mascot that captivated both adults and children.

In the game, enemy aliens called "Woolies" intend to steal Earth's supply of yarnballs, and as Bubsy has the world's largest collection of yarnballs, he has the most at stake, and sets out to stop the Woolies and reclaim the yarnballs. Alright, this is not the best story you've ever read, but it certainly suits the game. Bubsy is a lynx cat and is a relatively famous character, but it is not famous for the right reasons because it is an extremely simple character and of little depth with respect to others. In the game we can collect yarnballs and also white shirts with numbers to get extra lives, with exclamation for invincibility and black shirts that give a darker look to the character, who has skills like jumping, running and gliding in the air. Bubsy was to be a character in the style of Sonic The Hedgehog, but the level bad design of this game does not do well and causes the character to bump into enemies, thorns and even die if they fall from high places, in addition to having different animations when the character dies and maybe those elements have made Bubsy still quite remembered these days. It is a game that had potential, but that was not used as it should, is not a good game and is not a bad game either. The video was made by getting all Special Stages of all stages.
