A trimmed down version from the original MSX release, featuring 100 stages where you encounter a boss after every set of 10.

This version seems to be bugged in some ways, seen twice in the longplay where sometimes a glitchy barrier is generated near the point where you finish the stage after eating all dots, and the biggest offender here being stage 79 where it's technically impossible to complete without cheating. The only way to progress is by picking up a skip stage item at stage 78, but since I did not want to skip anything I decided to use a cheat so I could complete the aforementioned glitched stage by just eating part of the left wall. Bosses are also a pain to defeat as well, the snake moves at a slower pace than them requiring lots of maneuvers in order to survive through the fight.

As for the ending, it is somewhat lacking, just a short cutscene similar to the one you get before starting a 'world' and a congratulatory message. No staff roll nor anything else.
