Player's Review

Riddick Bowe Boxing is a boxing video game, it was developed by Malibu and published by Extreme Entertainment Group for North America in 1993 for the Super Nintendo. An alternative version titled Chavez was also released.

This game is very reminiscent of Sega's Evander Holyfield's "Real Deal" Boxing. In fact, it is almost exactly the same, with the exception of graphics. Even AI behavior is identical. Although some elements from the sequel, Greatest Heavyweights, are also present, such as increased damage from consecutive punches. At least there is no high-low exploit, but the AI is still cheating.

I beat all ranks and keep winning until the game forces me to retire. After that, I show several cheat boxers which you can play as by entering a specific name.
