We were comparing recording softwares; Fraps and Dxtory.

whats all this talk about i lossless.

Fraps is 100% lossless if you have RGB lossless enabled. It doesn't get any better. Compression is almost non existent is why you get huge files.

Fraps isn't truly lossless *Imo* but its still pretty damn close to the game. Close enough for LP's on here.

I use Fraps to record my games. Before that, I used XSplit Gamecaster. The switch between the two programs made one HELL of a difference. My Mega Man 2 walkthough was low quality.

Its overall a better program if you want to record PC games, but some games will spaz with it, thats where fraps comes in.

No, I have plenty memory, It's because fraps can sometimes use up a lot of resources and isnt as customizable as DXtory. Better FPS, True lossless and options for encoding-

Is it because of the memory it takes up?

Seems like only fraps works with Chaos Theory, Dxtory makes it crash. Good thing I have fraps as an alternative (although I really dislike using it).

so i may not be able to get the birth by sleep secret ending in kingdom hearts 2 final mix mainly because i suck at the game, but i will do everything else in the game

when i did the first kingdom hearts i was using different programs for encoding than i do now, much more unreliable and usually messed up
