It is stable, I've done 50+ DS longplays with that emulator.

I'm not sure, I don't think its 100 percent stable as an emu, but that was a while back when I played.

Depends on your computers performance. It lags for me because my computer doesn't have a fast processor.

Is DesMuMe laggy at all? I remember it being a decent program for playing DS games. Also, how long until a 3DS emu comes out?

on Vita, X is on a physical cartridge. X-2 is a digital voucher. Physical is pretty much any physical medium, like a cartridge or a disc.
