Maybe my eyes are different from yours, but I don't notice any difference between 30 and 60 fps.

Apart from cutting out 50% of the frames?

I watched the video from beginning to end after I edited it and it looked fine. Was there something I missed?

The sad fact is, if your pc is not up to the task then don't attempt a recording as the bad performance does show up in the video.

It depends on your system still.

I use Dxtory because its so much easier for me to use than Fraps. And the fact that you can change multiple codings makes it so much better imo. And Dxtory doesn't drop in Frames when you record.

I use Fraps too. The problem is my PC performance. If I use 60 fps, then it's too much for my processor to handle and lags as a result.

What software you used to record a PC version of Sonic CD? For me the best is Fraps and i'm not have problem to record with in 60fps

My Sonic CD long play is 30 fps because if I record 60 fps, the game will lag and cause audio delay in the recording.
