you could have use megui to merge the files together when they were still avi, doing the same thing i said with the script but instead of mp4 do avi

its a program that alllows other people to use your computer and show you what to do thats how i got how to make longplays and all

Vdub kept crashing on me every time I try to open an avi file. Besides, they were in .avi, but I used MeGUI to encode them to .mp4 to save space.

Your original output should be in .avi format. Then use vdub to merge all the avi files (append avi segment option).
