For Lunar is best use Bizhawk: this game have bugs in PSXJin with problem in cutscenes (the gameplays flow and sync without problem). PSXJin is good & fast but some games are not full compatible

@Brian0451 I already said: use a tool assisted emulator to record the input and we can help you with your encode. And Sony Vegas is not recomended for videos, i use VirtualDUB

Also, the fmvs in Lunar are low-res by default. Don't blame me for that. Blame "Game Arts."

Spazbo4 - My version of Vegas doesn't have "view transform." Should I ignore that step?

Uncompressed is lossless, but with a humongous file size. if that source is also blurry, then its an emu setting you need to look at.

but i wouldnt use sony vegas for emulators or pc games, i use vdub for editing those

So many specifications. What would be a good video processor for tscc or lagarith? And isn't full frames (uncompressed) a lossless codec?

You should be using a lossless codec such as tscc or lagarith to output a pixel perfect video to use as a source whilst still having some file compression. Then edit in VirtualDub before encoding.
