Here's another one on the second planet, looks really good to me, same settings as second snapshot. I'll upload a final encode to see if the colors survive.

Same area, its Veldin, 1st planet in the game, I'll do one on the 2nd planet you're talking about, which is Novalis for the 2nd pics settings.

have you got a snapshot from the same area as the video? ratchet looks more defined but the planet you are on in snapshot is the brown planet from the gears game

Okay, took some quick snapshots, I think I see the problem. Looks almost like I'm seeing a ghost actually, no wonder the colors were so bland.

Ok, 2nd test is in FTP. This one looks better to me. More "color filled"

You shoud calibrate the capture device to be as exact as possible to the source. leave personal preference to the display device.

Plus, its hard to look at a video thats too bright/full of color. I want to try and normalize them.

I thought so, I can make them a tad more rich, just slightly, it's probably like that because I think I play on slightly darker settings, thought it would help realism.

The brightness looks ok (no grey film over the image) but the colours do not look very vibrant.

I uploaded an RAC color test on the FTP, anyone familiar with the game please take a look and see if the colors are right.

The disk (and server) is fine. I got a new IP when the cable was kicked out for too long, perhaps your DNS hasn't updated to the new one yet?
