PS1 emulation on the PS3 is absolutely fine. I have confirmed it multiple times. You just have to disable the ps1/ps2 upscalers in ps3 game settings.

Uh... they look very similiar to how the PS1 games looked, if you ask me, PS1 emulation on my PC looks so good that its scary. Makes me wonder if its HD.

Sure, you can say "use PS2 and component cables to play PS1", but that's impossible. I tried to load Crash Bandicoot Warped and Legend of Mana. No picture on TV.

The PSX core for Bizhawk will come when it comes. As for component with PS1: more like it doesn't exist...at...all.

Games like Threads of Fate are unplayable on PSXJin for now, so we're hoping the Bizhawk can run PSX games with best compatibility and accuracy.

you can record ps1, but you need capture card that suport 240p via complonent (almost imposible to find). The same thing with some ps2 games.

@Spazbo4. These recent xbox uploads may end up rejected for bad image quality. You haven't taken any notice of any advice to sort your brightness/contrast setting out.
