The ps1 emulation it self has never crashed on me and I've recorded loads with it.

@RavenXP. Are you using a recent Bizhawk build? Some older versions had dodgy avi rendering that could randomly crash, but that was fixed a long time ago.

i know i mean't the desyncing sometimes it will crash but it happens rarely.

@Valis77 DesMume is for me one the best emulators ever, i never had crashes with Desmume!

Also PS2 is 90 480i so absolutely fine on a CRT. sorry meant to hit edit, I should have my coffee first and then post.

Longplayers, be patience, Xenogears video is very long and PSXHawk give crashes sometimes to load in read only large videos!

@TheVandal172, thank you very much, but i currently use Canvas Size in VirtualDUB to crop Xenogears video. But your lessons will be applied in future PSX videos played by me!

as long as you are not rescaling the video you should be fine.

xRavenXP Simply crop to the largest screen in the video. usualy the title screen, but not always.

bizhawk might make the resolution different depending on the game, just crop it so there are no black borders
