I was just asking for some ideas when I finally upgrade my setup.

@KAGE-008 Thanks for the info, but I was asking what kind of computer is Spazbo4 using. Dell Desktop? Alienware? Acer?

Read this thread if you plan on recording anything from the new-gen consoles.

@Spazbo4 I know I'm changing the subject, but what kind of computer do you use for your PS5/4K Longplays?

@Spazbo4 All I put it on is 60fps and what destination folder I want. Other than that, I leave it alone.

@Gamezopher No prob. Also, I never really use PS Now. I prefer to use disc-based games if possible.

I meant in-game options. As for recording I use Elgato HD60 on 1080p (sometimes 720p if it's PS3) for HDMI stuff.

I think he's referring to the capture device settings. Because I've looked at his 2D vids and they look fine to me.

@DiggerandIndy: what do you leave on default? encoding settings? because for 2D encoding we have a profile that we use

Modern games require settings that ensure a balance between quality and file size. It's different from retro stuff where pixel quality counts.

Oh. Did you record it from let's say Playstation Now? Was it from a streaming service? Then that might explain the forced compressed quality.

Of course, you're doing a great work, I hope I'm not coming off as super picky. I just think video quality should feel like pixel-perfect rather than compressed like bad JPEG files.

Same for 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game - Complete Edition'. I can't add them to my longplay collection on my HDDs due to this Sad Sad Sad

@Gamezopher I think there's some options where you COULD make it pixel-perfect, but I left it on default. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Hey DiggerandIndy, I'm always a huge fan of your longplays. I should however mention that your Capcom Beat'em Up Bundle videos are full of moving artifacts rather than being pixel-perfect.
